Cloudlands: VR Minigolf

Cloudlands: VR Minigolf was a launch title on both the HTC Vive and Oculus Rift. One of the first games made exclusively for VR. Being one of the first VR developers it took a great deal of prototyping to uncover a new design language specific for VR games. Many VR mechanics that are common now such as ways to locomote the player around a space, or how to interact with UI or how to simulate weight, all while not inducing nausea took a lot of trial and error. Cloudlands: VR launched with a custom designed 18 holes and online multiplayer. A massive update was released several months later, allowing users to create their own courses with the worlds first VR level editor. To date, there have been more than 2000 user created golf holes.
